Denon 3808-CI versus 4306

I am trying to decide between the new Denon 3808 CI and the now discontinued 4306.

I tried to make a detailed comparison between the two and found almost no difference. Since the 4306 is discontinued, I can get it (new) at a bargain price that makes it essentially the same cost as the 3808.

Finally, I could get a factory refurbished 4306 with a new warranty for even less.

Is there something I missed? Compelling reasons to pick the either the 3808 or the 4306 versus the other?

Thanks for your insights!

AVR-3808 can decode HD audio bitstreams which will be important in the future when HD DVD players and Blu-ray players no longer support internal decoding for Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital TrueHD, and in rare cases DTS-HD. Having the ability to bitstream them from future HD DVD or Blu-ray players ensures that you will be able to experiance those formats in all their glory, the AVR-4306 will not be able to do this.
