Hi: I currently am using the 56txi and I'm wondering if I switch to a Denon 3806 is it better for music? So I'm wondering about the 3806 is it a sideways move or an improvement(I'm using Axiom M-60's as mains,Axiom VP-150 center channel.Thanks for any opinions out there!
In my humble opinion, no, it will not make a difference. These two receivers are in the very same caliber.
The only major difference is Denon Audyssey MultEQ Xt vs Pioneer own proprietary room correction EQ.
Does it warrant the the switch-over? Only you can decide in your own room.
If you have the opportunity to test the 3806 in your home, check it out and decide which one sounds best in your own system with your Axiom speakers.
