I purchased it from J & R, an authorized dealer here in New York when it first came out for $900 plus tax. I'd like to think I got a great deal, but considering the significant markdown, should I be concerned that this receiver has been tampered within some manner? J & R is very highly regarded.
P.S. The serial # looks like it has not been tampered with. Can I confirm the authenticity with Denon?
