Can some one tell me how to get zone 2 working on the Denon 3805. I dont have a power amp just another set of speakers in another room. I have the 5.1 working in the main room with no problems. I'm not sure which inputs to put the speakers in and what setting I have to change to get them to work.

Zone 2 setup

You have to wire the Zone 2 speaker wires to the Surround Back pre-outs, they are the speaker terminals closest to the edge. After that, you have to go into the setup program, I think under speaker setup, and make sure Surround back is set to Zone 2. I am running a seperate Zone of speakers off of this and it works great. Another thing to keep in mind, you need to run Analog audio cables from any Input device if you want to hear sound on Zone 2, because Zone 2 doesn't support digital audio.

Hope this helps!

That's a great point - I also have a Denon, and when I first hooked it up two years ago, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't hear the digital music channels from my DirecTv receiver outside.

No worries, though. Just hook up analog L/R cables to an unused input on the 3805, and select that input as the multi-source.
