Is there a way to assign different setup parameters for different listening/viewing modes? For example:
1. I know that I can setup the receiver to have different sub woofer levels, left front speaker, right front speaker, etc. for multi-channel sources such as DVD audio (Ext In). I also know that I can have a separate setup for DVD movie and CD audio disks but it seems that once I setup the DVD player in the receiver for DTS audio disks that setup also applies to both DVD DTS/Dolby Digital video disks as well as any radio signals.
Is there a way to setup a different configuration for each source? For example:
1. DVD audio is set to -12 db on the sub woofer, and 0 db for all other speakers.
2. DTS surround Audio CDs set with -10 db on the sub woofer and 0 db for all other speakers.
3. DTS surround Video/Movie DVDs set with +6 db on the sub woofer and 0 db for all other speakers.
4. Dolby Digital surround Video/Movie DVDs set with +8 db on the sub woofer and 0 db for all other speakers.
In my experience it appears that I only have two choices. One setting for DVD audio (Ext. In) and one choice for all other inputs (DVD DTS/Dolby Digital/Dolby PL II/Analog).
Ultimately I would like to be able to switch between listening to a DTS audio CD to a DTS or Dolby Digital recorded Video CD and have different settings for each one without having to manually make the changes.
Thanks in advance
