Denon 3805 "clicking"

Hey everyone,
Having an issue with my Denon 3805 - starting last night whenever it receives a component video signal from a DVD player it "clicks" like crazy. I have tried 2 DVD players (Pioneer S97 and an old Sony DSP-7000) and two different video inputs (1 and 3). I get sound, but no video. The clicking sound appears to be coming from the left side of the receiver as you are looking at the front.

Any ideas?

Ok, I did some more investigating and determined it was my green component cable from my receiver to the projector that was the culprit (I repulled them through the ceiling conduit yesterday - the component cables are 8m runs). So I switch the green and blue connectors on both the projector and the receiver and all seems fine. Any thoughts - do I need new cables?

I had a similar problem and the pj would drop the input signal, it turned out to be a broken solder in one of the component cable connectors. I just re soldered it and all was fine.

That was my first thought after I determined it was a cable. But I checked all the connections and they all seem secure. Who knows - works now.
