Hello folks, I am new to this forum (finally registered) and at the tail end of getting my HTS setup.

Sharp Aquos LC-37D4U
Denon AVR-3805
Denon-3910
Orb Audio 5.1 Mod 2's
Monster PowerCenter HTS 3500
BDI Axis 8028

Just now setting up the Monster PowerCenter and I am having problems with the AC remote function. I cannot get the Denon 3805 and Monster PowerCenter to turn on with the remote control.

This is how I have it hooked up according to their instructions-am I missing something?

I have the HTS 3500 unit plugged into 120 AC wall plug, the 3805 hooked into the HTS 3500 switched outlet for A/V Receiver, and I am utilizing the Remote AC Control Cord that was provided with HTS 3500 plugging the female end into the HTS 3500 and the male prong into my Denon 3805's switched AC power outlet, and the toggle switch on the HTS 3500 set to remote.

Can anyone shed any light on this? I can get it to work in the normal mode, but it would be nice to utilize the remote feature instead of stooping over everytime to turn the on/off switch on the HTS 3500.

Thanks,

Wondervamp:confused:

I have the same problem. What I did was just not use the remote control...

Naisphoo,

I finally figured out that you have to do everything I explained, but instead of plugging the A/V receiver into the PowerCenter's switched outlet, it needs to be plugged into one of the unswitched outlets to utilize the remote feature.
