Denon 3312 keeps turning on & off !!????

So as the title says, I have a Denon 3312 that i just bought as an open box item from Future shop that keeps turning on & off every couple of seconds. I checked the wire connections on the back of it & made sure none of the wires were touching each other. I don't get it. Anybody have any clues about what the problem might be??

Try unplugging everything and seeing if it still does it. If it does, you can try doing a microprocessor reset. If that doesn't work, you'll more than likely have to exchange the unit.

Hi. The procedure is listed on page 149 of the owner's manual (PDF version from Denon linked here).

1. Turn off the power using ON/STANDBY.
2. Press ON/STANDBY while simultaneously pressing PRESET CHANNEL 2 and PRESET CHANNEL 3.
3. Once the display starts flashing at intervals of about 1 second, release the two buttons.

If in step 3 the display does not flash at intervals of about 1 second, start over from step 1.
