I'm a novice with this stuff so let me understand what you're saying.
My hook up is as follows:
Denon Receiver is connected by HDMI cables to a cable/SAT box and to a Samsung Blu Ray player and to a Samsung 58" TV. Are you saying you suspect one of the cables got fried or the Denon Receiver's HDMI input got fried? I still get audio from the TV and from the Blu Ray. I also still get radio stations. It's just video I don't get.
Unfortunately HDMI is a dreadful pox on mankind. It is a complex system of handshakes, via HDCP codes. The connectors and cables are frail, because there are 20 or so wires inside and 20 pins each end. To top it off the plugs and sockets are a poor deign and easily damaged.
It is possible to get audio and not video, in fact it is common.
Since you seem to be having problems with all sources, the problem is most likely at you receiver or TV.
Possibilities.
Bad cable between receiver and TV.
Failed HDMI socket on TV, or failed TV HDMI video circuits.
Failed HDMI output socket on TV.
Settings in receiver have changed due to power glitch.
A chip set in the video circuits or HDMI are locked up.
Video and or HDMI circuits fried in receiver.
Do this.
See if you get picture and sound directly connecting the sources to the TV.
If no, problem is the TV, or the HDMI cable to TV. Try a new cable. If still no picture TV needs service.
If no picture, with any of above, see if you can get a picture to the TV with component analog cables. You will likely have to turn off HDMI in your receiver.
If you have picture, then reselect HDMI in the receiver and carefully check that the menu settings are correct and that HDMI is properly enabled.
If no picture then, see if rebooting the Denon will solve it. Read your manual, and find out how to do a reset to factory settings. Then reprogram your receiver.
If this fails then your Denon needs to go for service.
