Would the denon 2805 be able to handle 4 ohm speakers. Thanks

It could drive them, but two things to consider are the efficiency of the speaker and how loud you want to play it and for how long. If the speakers are efficient (> 90 dB @ 1w/m) then it could do a decent job most likely. Most pros recommend high power/high current amps to drive 4 ohm speakers to their fullest capability.

If the speaker is ineffcient it will tend to over work the amplifier. The problem is with trying to run multiple speaks with low impedances. This will really over work the amp. If you are going to stick to using mains at 4 0hms nominal with the others at 8 ohms, then you should be ok. Just keep the receiver well ventilated because it will run hotter.
