I have a question about the use of Pure Direct Mode. When listening to two channel music (cd) in Prue Direct Mode, with any of the EQ settings on (normal, flat etc.), do you have the option to switch the sub ON or OFF?

The reason I ask this is 'cause as soon as I turn the sub OFF I get very low sound out of my mains. My normal listening level is around -20db. When this happens I have to turn it up to -4db before I actually start to hear anything and even then it is really muted sound.

I usually listen to Pure Direct without any EQ setting on, but playing around with the menus I came across this. Is that the way this thing was designed, is it normal or am I just missing something here. Please help, although a minor problem it's driving me NUTS.

You can switch the sub off,..if you hit "ch sel enter" button, flip through to sub, then adjust it all the way down, the final setting is off.
I don't have a 2805,...I do have a 3805. I have not run across this problem,... one thing though, if you have pure direct and analog set you should not be able to use any of the eq settings. Pure direct bypasses all DSP and Video circuits.
Are you using the multi-channel EXT. IN jacks?
