Denon 2805, 3805, 4805?

Is there much difference between the Denon 2805, 3805 and the upcoming 4805? Is the price difference worth it all?

I am currently building a home and putting speakers with cat5 wiring to 8 different rooms. Right now, it is only my wife and I....so i don't expect to be listening to more than 2 different cd's/mp3's at a time. I believe that all of these receivers can have 2 different sources and play them to 2 different rooms, is that right?

Thanks

Cat 5?

How are you implementing that cat 5 wire for speakers? I certainly hope you are not intending to use one pair of each individual 24 gauge wire for the speakers, thereby getting four speakers per cable. Even doubling up the pairs up will only work out to 21 gauge wire.

I'd rethink and go for at least 16 gauge wire per speaker. 14 or 12 if possible but I'd rethink that cat5 stuff.

The difference between these AVR's essentially boils down to features:

The 4805 appears to be a big step up from the 3805 with lots of features to drool over. The 3805 versus the 2805 boils down to multi-room applications and the desirable Denon Link.

What you NEED and what you WANT are not always the same things.

I have the 2805. Small room with a basic high quality HT. If I was wiring up for a whole house application and had the $ I would get the upcoming 4805.

So....would I be ok using the 3805?

What would I gain with the 4806? Is it worth the extra $$$?
