denon 2105 or better

Hey,
Recently purchased denon 2105,, I have a Sanyo 32'' tv with video input,,,,I've set-up evrything like the book says but still cannot get the onscreen display on my tv,,, Denon does mention the fact that the display is made for higher definition tv's and a lower resolutions the lettering would be real small,,, but I don't even get the small lettering,,, anybody have this problem? digthis

See if you can get a display using component connections. I can't on my 3802. You may have to use s video for the on screen display to work.

V is very likely right. many of today's mid and upper-mid line receivers won't send the OSD over component cables. You could have spent another $ 500 above your 2105 and still had to run a S-video or composite cable just to be able to see your menu.

Well,,, The audio warehouse fellow said it would work so I'll put the PRESSURE on him,,,No s-video on tv! just on the dish network sat,,, The instructions are sort of vague, This was one of the main reasons that I bought reciever was
for it's on screen display! digthis

2805 with componenets to sony 30",osd works to set up Denon and DVD plays menu works to. Denons menu has a osd on/off and put the sony on the right video you hooked up to.

Hey,
I got it to work fine on mine, you can use component, the book says s-video is like default? there's a word I want to use but can't spit it out right now! Also it would help to put it on video 1 { DUUUHHH!} , works well and should work on all denon avr receivers. TIA digthis
