Hello - I am looking for some insight in what I may be missing. or maybe it is broken.

I have always run the zone 2 directly to my outside speakers. Spring has arrived and when we tried to turn zone 2 on there was nothing. We used the remote and the button on the receiver and there is no response from the receiver. The zone 1 surround still functions perfectly.

Thanks for any input on what to check.

Sorry Folks because after playing with the receiver for an hour I came and wrote the above question. I then went and tried again, but this time used the Amp button on remote and it turned on. Needing to use the Amp button is new as it used to turn on without it. The "zone 2" button on the receiver itself still does not function though. The bad news: I bothered you all. The good news: I get to keep my money and not buy a new receiver. Thanks for reading.

Off topic. Since i can't afford a real 1911, maybe I'll just get the Denon 1911 so I can say I have a 1911.
