denon 1083

Anyone have any experience with this model? Seems to be the 3803 with a new nameplate. Looks to me like a marketing ploy by denon to get into the "super electronics store" market. Not a bad deal though

The 3803 and the 1083 should be identical receivers. The 1083 comes from Denon's HTIB line whereas the 3803 is from the normal home audio line. You can see this on their website www.usa.denon.com

If the 1083 is a good deal and you like the 3803, grab it!
