I used the "Watch ESPN" app to watch the game via my FireTV.
My feed would stop and rebuffer periodically, and it became insufferable for the last 10 minutes. I even missed a few plays to the buffering.
I have Windstream DSL service which I know is not the fastest, but most of the time, I have no problem streaming movies/programs without interruption, and in those rare cases where I do have an interruption they are never as long or as frequent as the game.
So, what I am wondering is why my feed got so slow for this event. Would the volume of people streaming the game cause the network to bog down?
Near the start of the game, I plugged the ethernet connection from the router into the Fire TV (instead of using WiFi) once I realized it was having to stop and reload. But it did not help.
Thanks!
