[h=5]Description[/h]This recall involves the SuperCube 2000 powered subwoofers with “0912HB” as part of a serial number printed on the back of the unit. The subwoofer measures 11 inches tall by 11 inches wide by 11 inches deep and has a black cloth grille wrapping all four sides with a glossy black top cap. “Definitive” is printed on the bottom front of the speaker.
[h=5]Incidents/Injuries[/h]The firm has received two reports of consumers who were shocked while handling the unit.
[h=5]Remedy[/h]Consumers should immediately stop using the subwoofer in the theater system and contact Definitive Technology for a replacement.
[h=5]Sold at[/h]Electronics stores nationwide and online at BestBuy.com and Amazon.com between November 2012 and January 2013 for about $600.
