Definitive and marantz setup thoughts

greetings. Noob member wanted your thoughts on my main room setup.

Marantz sr-5005

Fronts (set to small) - definitive 7040
Center (set to small) - definitive CLR-2000
Sub - prosub 800 ( I know, I know... looking into SVS)
Rear surround (set to small) - definitive BP10

Crossover frequency all set to 40 except center is at 60.

Lpf for lfe is set to 120.

What y’all think?

This receiver has Audessey, did you run that and this is how it set them or how you set them yourself?

I ran audessy but it set my front 7040s as large...

Just set them back to small. That's not unusual. I have bookshelf speakers and it set them to large too.

Yamaha YPAO does that too, all my speakers are bookshelves but YPAO sets the front and rear surrounds to large.

Might want to raise the crossovers with a better sub, tho. The large/small thing even with your sub is more the avr manufacturer than Audyssey; Audyssey themselves recommended a starting point, when using a sub, of 80hz crossover and all speakers set to use bass management (small). Good luck on your sub search, you are on the right track there
