I just watch this blu-ray last night, and I enjoy it quite well.
It is an extraordinary true story about the Jew resistance during the second world war, starring Daniel Craig and Liev Schreiber as the two main actors.
This is a film directed by Edward Zwick (Blood Diamond, The Last Samurai, Glory).
The music soundtrack is by James Newton Howard.
It is a Paramount Vantage studio produced film.
The blu-ray video quality is great with many scenes that are extremely detailed (in the forest for example).
The soundtrack is also first rate with a great music score and some demo scenes with great subwoofer workout and good panning in the surrounds.

The extras contained a good commentary track by the director and some nice features about this exceptional true story; "Defiance: Return to the Forest" in HD, "Scoring Defiance" in HD, "Children of the Otriad: The Families Speak" in HD, and a few more.
I personally love the black and white photographs taken by the director Edward Zwick; you can tell that this guy is a true artist. It is one of the features, also in HD. Highly recommended to have a look at these amazing pictures. I was totally fascinated.
The film is presented in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio (1080p), and is well served by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio soundtrack.
A must see film, for sure, based on a great true story, with a great cast, great acting by our two main characters, an excellent artistic team with great production, costumes, make up, designs, lighting, cinematography, music score, editing and much more from all departments.
Two thumbs up from me.
