Def. Techs. Supers? That low??

Hello all,
Looking at some specs on the Def Tech Super Tower series. http://www.definitivetech.com/specs/specs.html#bipolartowers
The specs state the speakers are having frequency range in the 11-17 Hz range depending on the speaker. They don't list a -3dB or anything though. Has anyone heard these speakers? What dB level are the speakers playing this frequency at? If the stats are true it would seem you wouldn't need any extra sub for these speakers. Two subs at sub 20Hz. Probably enough. Anyway, I have my doubts but was wondering if anyone knew more. Thanks.

Something to note with Def. Tech...when they list specs, its typically what range the speaker starts producing sound, not the -3db point or anything like that. For instance, they have the SuperCube II listed as 14Hz - 200Hz. But when Home Theater Mag. measured them, the -3db point was 27Hz. You can safely assume similar results with the Super Tower series, as they have built in SuperCube subwoofers. (Although I haven't located any measurements on the supercube reference or supercube I's...and they do play pretty low)

That is kind of what I figured. If a person could get 15Hz x two subs, plus a set of towers for the price the speakers sell for, everyone would be getting them and not worrying about buying subs. Still, I would love to see some stats as to the true specs on this speaker.
