the s/c reference is a very good sub, i have two of them. it would boil down to your negotiating skills. the fact being that you have to buy def tech at a B&M store, that would determine if you can get a good price on the reference or not.


if not, you will get more bang for your a/v buck going with ID brands such as hsu, svs, ed, av123 etc.

I own two of these bad boys and they put out like a crack whore a week before the government check arrives (sorry, I went to see Lisa Lampanelli last night and my brain is wired for smut).
A lot of the forum members here swear by the SVS line for build quality, performance, and price but I have not personally auditioned them.

I picked up the Supercube I for 799 special buy this month. They have more if this is a good price.
So far I like it.
