Here is my setup. Denon 3805, Pair of 7002 (L&R) 2500 (Cen) BPX (Sur). Im using the 7002 built in sub for my sub. I have a splitter coming out of the LFE out and going to both 7002's. I have the 7002's & the 2500 set to large with the BPX's set to small. I thought about setting them to small but then the 10" 150w sub on my 2500 would not be used very much (just the top end). Here is my question: Should I set all of my speakers to small and get a 3way splitter from my LFE out and send it to the 2500? Thanks for any advise or comments.

Omega,
I'd just keep your center set to large. I have a CLR 3000 in my HT, and setting it to large is the best way to run it in my set up, the sub in the center channel (even in the larger CLR 3000) isn't designed to add deep thumping bass; it's purpose is to simply make the speaker a true full range speaker, so just keep the center channel signal going to it full range, don't send the LFE to it. Actually in your set up, I'd probably just run all 3 front speakers as full range and take the splitter & LFE cables out, that's what DefTech suggests for such a set up.

Thanks for the reply Zildjian. I guess I will keep it as is. I have set all the speakers to small w/o the LFE going to the center and I could not really tell any difference. I actually emailed Chet at Def. Tech. before i bought my speakers and he sugested that I use the LFE inputs for the L&R speakers. Im not sure it would make any difference either way.

Chet is definately :)D couldn't resist...) the best resource for any DefTech specific questions. I forgot, you have a different amp in your towers than I (I have BP2000's), as Chet suggested that I not use the LFE outs from my preamp, but rather regular preamp outs (full signal) or just speaker level to the binding posts and let the internal crossover sort it out.
