Hi everyone, quick question I have Def Tec BP8040 and as I’m sure you all know the woofer in then can’t go below 35HZ and I seem to get a lot of port noise at high volume. Would it be a bad idea to put one SVS PC-2000 right next to left speaker? Also do you thing it would make the Dialogue muddy??

I think most subs end up next to mains, should be fine. And a sub wont effect vocals in the least because they wont play those frequencies

I have Def Tech speakers as well but all bookshelf system. My PB-1000 is right next to my front left SM 65. No problem at all.

Keep in mind the best place for a sub is not always where you want it. If you want low output you may have to experiment with the placement of it. The room effects how a sub will perform.

I like them very much. I have 3 actually the front for LCR and SM 55 surrounds. I wish I had done all 5 SM 65 to be honest but it's all good.
