so guys I have a choice to make. I recently picked up 2 new receivers, the onkyo tx-rz800 and the Marantz sr8009. I need to keep one and sell one and I’m in between bc I love them both. They are hooked up to a set of B&w dm602.5. Any advice ?

Do they both offer the features that you are looking for? If so, then which one sounds better to your ears? Are you using Audyssey and/or AccuEQ? I much prefer the Marantz brand to that of Onkyo any given day. But, that is me-not you. Audyssey has always been a deal breaker for me most of the time. Just saying.......

exactly right. get a match on the features you like or want, and then it comes down to listening and aestechics. I too prefer the Marantz as a brand. Just me . Doesn't mean beans.
