im building a new set of PAs. they are loaded with Madison 12" 1,000watt Exicutioners (one each) and a 3" 50oz titanium driver tweeter with a 7x14 horn. im lookin for a 2.8cuf vented box BUT. id like to use angel ports instead of triditional round ports in common PAs, figured id add some class. the normal recommended ports for 12" Cabenits is dual 3x5 ports. the angel ports i would like to get is of the following...

now would that be about the same as 3x5 ports? and if its a little too big, could i trim the back of the port down to cut down on port cuf?
