I'm trying to put together a good setup for a little bit of cash. (hard to spend money in college). So here's the main thing I am trying to figure out.
I have a yamaha c-45 preamp that is in good condition and I am looking for a good power amp to go along with it. Right now my stereo is in my basement (so very large room) and I have a yamaha receiver 75x2 powering two cerwin vega e710s. I know that the cerwin vegas are not top notch on sound quality but those will be the last thing I will replace. Right now I was wondering what would be a good power amp to match up with this setup. I've looked at some of the older yamaha amps. (M50,M60,M70). I was just looking for some sound advice.
