The premise espoused on their webpage, to me, is a Bad Thing (tm). Designed to be intuitive to the layman but inherently flawed in logic.

They assert something to the effect of : "Guitars are made of wood and resonate, our speakers are made of wood, so they should resonate".

Ignoring something as basic as "production vs reproduction" (a well which they salt in their verbiage), and ignoring the metaphorical failings of "double resonating", I would point out that a trombone (which the speaker must also produce) is not made of wood.

*any* sound emission from a speaker, and this doesn't matter whether it's the cone or not, has to address the same issues of phase, coherence, and FR.

Their cabinet will not have a flat FR curve. I will also be out-of-phase. As such, a resonating cabinet will add improper sounds to the room.

(PS. Visually I like them. Perhaps someone can convince them to come to the GTG this weekend.)

Agree, but it makes for fun reading all the same, like watching a bad infomercial.

Our first priority was to make our floor-standing loudspeakers beautiful.
Always the best place to start with a loudspeaker

Their solid exotic wood elements will last forever, sound better with age, and look better with age...The heirloom aesthetic of solid natural wood is unmatched in beauty and will last forever.
Wait, I'm confused... How long will they last???

Unlike their more sterile MDF counterparts or the now-popular aluminum or injected plastic front baffles, our solid tonewood baffles impart a nuance to the music that is warmer and more natural.
While I've been Mr. Devil's Advocate lately with respect to a lack of standards making it hard for me to take claims of "accuracy" too seriously...wow...just wow...

All that said, I'd still take a listen; not a fan of the looks though.

^THIS right here :) A speaker is a device for reproduction, not an instrument. Ideally, a speaker will reproduce audio and color or alter what it is reproducing as little as possible.
