I need a little explanation if someone can help, I want to make sure I am set up correctly.
My new Denon 3808ci HT reciver shows the volume bar on screen with a + or - db number, sorry this is new to me.
The volume is pretty low until it gets to the 75 - 80% range and moves into the -db mumbers, but it is only up there in volume for a very short upper range of the volume scale, it seems to top out around -10 / -15db
I do not understand the scale and swear the volume db range has changed a little from one auto set up to another while experimenting with the Audyssy MultiEQ auto set up. Can the volume range display in db readout change, is this a set up variable, am i getting th most out of this amp?
