Dayton APA-150 questions

Potential use is with a trio of JBL L20t in a sizable room. Nominal impedance 6 ohm, minimum 5.5 ohm. Considering three of the Dayton APA-150 amps, one for each speaker, but concerned about letting the magic smoke out when bridged into such a load. Mitigating factors: signal will be high passed; the amps are fan cooled, and reportedly the fans hardly ever activate under normal conditions.

I was hoping that someone here owned these (or the equivalent, discontinued EMO BPA-1) and could report how they fare when beaten upon. Has anyone put these to a proper torture test?

Agree there - minimum impedance is 8 Ohms when running bridged for this unit, so I'd say that's risky.

UPA500 is the obvious choice. I'll go with that.
