At a concert, Bono strode to the front of the stage and slowly started clapping his hands. The band was silent. He then announced to the audience, "Every time I clap my hands a child somewhere in the world dies of hunger."
After a brief silence, a voice was heard from somewhere in the crowd. "So stop f***ing clapping already!"

I saw them in the 80's and I can be seen for a second in the Rattle and Hum movie during their visit to ASU Sun Devil stadium. Have fun Mazer.

They were just up here in Raleigh NC last weekend, caused a huge traffic jam on I-40 from what I heard on the news. That claw thing requires 100 tractor-trailers to move around after they disassemble it

I know the guy that used to run their merchandizing.
They made more money from tee shirt & memorabilia sales, than they did from tickets. (at the time he was with them)
So, that's pretty much all I got...
