D1ck Clark. Just heard too. Wow, he seemed like he was older than 82, but at the same time, wasn't looking all that great the last time I saw him on anything. Especially after that stroke. RIP

I thought he had been converted using Disney's animatronic technology until he had that stroke. That told me otherwise.

He was an icon from another era. Sad to see him go, but I did question whether he belonged back on tv or if the network was just using him. He did a lot for the music scene for many decades.

I will always remember him for American Bandstand more than anything, even the New Years eve countdowns :) Before there was MTV, there was Clark and AB.
