Hi
I have a very good friend that is one of the top recording
engineers for a major studio most of the time
bits of a recording are evaluated with mono and final
polish is with L/R stereo 98% of the buying force will listen
with L/R only and preduction and post production work
assumes this. Most of the budget is for marketing
Quality wise things will not change in the near future
the Kid with the Lowered Boom box Honda is what the
Studios are banking on and low production costs and fast
recording times put smiles on the bean counters faces
Cheers Ray
