Hello everyone im currently enjoying my 7.1 hometheater, but...... i want to have a 7.2.2 atmos/dts:x system but... i want to minimize the devices. this is what it looks like atm http://www.denon.co.uk/uk/product/hometheater/avreceivers/avrx4100w a 4100w A/v reciever from denon with 125w. all speakers are from the Dali Lektor series. L/R FloorSpeaker http://www.dali-speakers.com/en-US/Loudspeakers-1/LEKTOR-8.aspx C speaker http://www.dali-speakers.com/en-US/Loudspeakers-1/LEKTOR-LCR.aspx Surround L/R http://www.dali-speakers.com/en-US/Loudspeakers-1/LEKTOR-2.aspx Rear L/R http://www.dali-speakers.com/en-US/Loudspeakers-1/LEKTOR-3.aspx Subwoofer http://www.dali-speakers.com/en-US/Loudspeakers-1/SUB-E-12-F.aspx Now im thinking of getting lektor 1 or two putting em up in the ceiling but they are a bit big, so im wondering what type of speaker i should get. let me remind you i live in a apartment so i can tear up the ceiling sadly since i dont own the building. 1. so what type of speaker should i put in the ceiling. 2.should i get a second sub, and should it be the same model or should i get two new ones from another brand?. thinking of these options 1x12(reg sub) 3x12(floor tower sub :) ) http://www.xtzsound.eu/cinema-series (both 1x12 and 3x12 on this page.) another dali 12-f? or you got a better idea with a better brand? 3. what AWG should the cable be to the speakers? im thinking of 10 to the rear side and ceiling ones and the rest awg 12 or 14 on fronts and center. My Reciever sound good and i saw that vid about shrinking power in the recievers http://www.audioholics.com/audio-amplifier/trading so im worried buying: http://www.denon.co.uk/uk/product/hometheater/avreceivers/avrx7200wa in fear it will be worse then what i got now, also i need another reciever to get my ceiling speakers in order wich i rather not do. so there dont happen to be a good reciever out there to give me a 7.2.2 system going? i've been looking at the ones that are out there they are mostly really really expensive or they can match my criteria with another amp. 4.they got NAD amps in the stores wich boosts the low fq on the speakers wich makes them sound awesome but it sound like the reciever i got now cant do it unless you change the graphic EQ. is it the same as a knob on a regular amp? Should i wait until they release the 4k uhd blueray players perhaps? getting a proper reciever then with a dvd and with a 4k projector? all these ideas and the money we need to spend! :) Thx for thoughts and input!
