Are there currently any receuvers that support HDMI 1.3 (trueHD)

if not, when can we expect the first one?

are there even any TVs out currently that have HDMI 1.3 outputs? is a conventional 1.1 output sufficient or you need to buy a new tv to take advantage of the future HDMI capability?

lastly, can anyone give me a good recomendation for a reciever that allows me to upload mp3 format music. are there any on the market that can store music via a hard drive, or do you have to connect your computer/ mp3 player everytime you want to play music from a hard drive collection??

Thanks,

According to BMXTRIX, who seems very well-informed, there is only one device currently on the market that supports HDMI version 1.3: the Sony PS3 gaming system. Also, I heard the second generation Toshiba BD player will support HDMI 1.3. Epson has announced a front projector that supports HDMI 1.3, to be introduced this Spring. I don't know when additional HDMI 1.3 hardware will be forthcoming, except to guess it will be this year. IMO, you are wise to delay your purchase of a new receiver until one becomes available with HDMI 1.3 support.
