Crystal Acoustics?

Has anyone heard, or own any of these speakers? Just read a review in Home Theater Magazine, and they got a nice review. http://www.hometheatermag.com/floorloudspeakers/406crystal/
They make THX Select systems from $1500 - $3500. Not bad. They have nice parts, and the tweeter is separated on top like B&Ws and like. They don't have a dealer network set up yet, but offer a 30 day in-house trial like Axiom. Just wondering if any one has any experiance with them? Trying to pull the trigger on a new HT (if my wife lets go of my arm! ) I'm leaning toward the Axioms, but want to get other opinions on speakers in that price range. Plus those THX badges on speakers really impress your friends!

I checked them out at CES. They looked pretty neat but I think they are quite a bit more expensive than the axioms. I think they are known overseas as Crystal Audio so you may want to search under that name for additional reviews. If I remember correctly, the tweeter on top swivels. They played a little music through them but their booth was terrible for a listening test so I wouldn't venture a guess as to how they sound. I know that Ray Atkins was looking into them so you may want to send him a PM.

I am 90% sure monster uses re-badged Crystal Acoutics speakers.

Does anyone own Crystal Acoustics? Anyone heard them in person?

I love the look with the individually attached tweeter on top of the towers. But I want to get some first hand knowledge of them from someone. Seems like a good price.

The Axioms are probably a better buy. Anything THX certified usually means it will be more expensive, but doesn't necessarily mean it's any better. They have to pay to get that certification and that expense is usually passed on to the customer. Just my two cents. Not that it means much.
