CRT Projectors - Who else has them?

On the avsforum and other message boards a lot of people are CRT front projector enthusiasts. Who else here has them? I have an old Sony VPH-1251Q from 1994. Still puts out a sharp and brilliant picture.

I had one. Too dark

Too big, too clunky, too much mantainance. I'll take a compact high res digital projector any day, even if there's a small trade-off in black level.

Cost must not be an object for you CRT pj's are SOOO inexpensive.

I personally like having a large piece of equipment like that hanging from my ceiling! It's a great conversation piece

Oh, cost is an issue. I don't own a projector yet but when I do it will certainly be a digital one.

If cost was an issue for you, you'd got CRT...not digital
