I have come to the concusion that although digital has come a long long way as far as picture quality that CRT is still KING of displays after going to CEDIA this year and seeing the best digital displays out there they where good Sony VW100 or the Ruby is fantastic but after veiwing for extended periods would the artificial sharpness bother me coming home and looking at my CRT made me slow down on my Digital PJ purchase. Any feel the same way ?

I agree. They're bulky, limited in screen size and lot's of other things but they're cheap and produce the best picture quality. Of course, one has to consider that decades have gone into perfecting CRT's. In time, no doubts LCD's and Plasma's will take over but for now CRT rules!

I second that!

CRT is still KING but can not compete once you get into the larger screen sizes price wise.

Solution:

Use CRT for SD programming and a PJ for HD and DVD viewing.
