Don't even get me started on crosstalk!
All I know is that the $20,000 Mark Levinson preamps have crosstalk of -130dB, while Emotiva and most mortal preamps and pre-pro have crosstalks of -70dB or more.
The lower the crosstalk (more negative), the better. It means better channel separation. A channel separation > 130dB is a crosstalk of < -130dB.
The Yamaha Z11 has a crosstalk of -90dB @ 1 kHz and -80dB @ 20kHz, which is fantastic.
Anyway, a crosstalk of -30dB from 20Hz-20kHz is good enough.
Only problem is, most people only quote you the crosstalk @ 1 kHz, if they even give you a crosstalk.
