crossover questions for multi-pole vs direct firing

So I have looked through quite a few diffuse vs direct firing surround speaker threads but I still have some remaining questions.

Right now I am leaning towards getting some surrounds like the Axiom QS8s. However, I am worried about the high +/-3db limit of 95Hz for these speakers. I noticed that the direct firing speakers such as the M22 bookshelfs have a better response at low frequencies.

I would in general prefer diffuse surrounds because I like to have a large listening area.

What is the best approach for setting the crossover when using surrounds like the QS8s along with LRCs that can produce at much lower frequencies? I want to avoid localized bass but I also don't want the bass hole for my surrounds.

Right now I am leaning towards purchasing two subs, so if that can be used to help this problem please let me know.

Does anyone know where to find the frequency response chart for the QS8s?

Thanks

It's not too big of a deal with surrounds because they get very little information in most cases and almost never any low frequencies.

If your receiver allows different xover frequencies for each channel then you should be fine setting the surrounds to 100 Hz and the others to lower xovers based on their capabilities.
