I have two b115ds and one db sub808d subwoofer.
I have crossovered the satellites through pc using jriver mediacenter at 150hz.
The wiered thing is,whether i crossover my b115ds or not,they clip at the exact same point on the gain knob! I obviously hear less bass on them but no more volume possible because they still clip at the same point.
My system is like this:
Sound source is my ipod connected through emulated airplay on pc which then grabs the audio signal by jriver mediacenter,crossover it at 150hz and the sends it to behringer xenyx 502 mixer and finally to my satelites.mixer is on 0 gain and doesn't clip just orange color.
Shouldn't crossovering let me turn up my speakers more and change the clipping point?
I am confused.
