I bought the new Cream- Royal Albert Hall - DVD today.
IMO, it is to me the best I've heard in a long time.
Give this a viewing with your subwoofers tuned!
You'll think this is silly, but I can't write a review yet.
I've got to settle down.
This DVD in dts is simply incredible!
Kelly :)

After listening to Eric Clapton's One More Car One More Rider in DTS, I am sure the Cream Concert is a must buy.
Have it already in my wish list.

You will be amazed, I promise!
Clapton's playing with Cream is about as good as it can get.
Ginger Baker has been likened in the reviews to the Jimi Hendrix of Drums, and he's 65 yrs old.
Jack Bruce on Bass and vocals should be used for classic examples of how it shoud be done.
You will probbably be blown away!

Enjoy

Cream DVD

Just picked this DVD up at Costco for 18 bucks or so and I can honestly say this is the best sounding/looking concert DVD I have seen. Unaided by synthesizers and backup musicians, these "old" guys play is straight and the result is amazing. The DTS track is the best I have heard and the video quality is also excellent. Cream was really a unique band and this concert is something special.

I saw CREAM live when I was young.
I felt at that time that they were about as good as any of the competition then!
The three togeather could still probably hold their own jamming with many of today groups.
Glad there is someone else who enjoyed the concert!
Cheers,
surveyor :)

DTS Mania

This is one outstanding concert. The drum solo alone on disc 2 is worth every penny I paid for it. This is the dvd to REALLY test your system.

The Engine:
Receiver - Harman Kardon AVR 630
Fronts JBL E 100's
Center - JBL EC35
Rears - JBL L810 Studio Series
Sub - JBL L8400 600 Watts

Thanks for resurrecting this thread. I was just recently thinking I needed to add some Cream to my collection of CDs. (I used to listen to my older brother's albums as a kid and had basically forgotten about them - shame on me.)

This is a great DVD. The DTS sound is great - although I think to much drum comes through the surrounds at times. I guess I could just listen to it in stereo. :)

Anyway, thanks again for the heads-up on this DVD,

Mitch
