Sorry have to be "that guy" :D:D The red is right and the white is left :D:D

Yes overall you have it the best way possible, just backwards. Hook it up and have fun.

One other thing - the trigger input on the amp would be connected to the trigger output on the Yamaha. You have the trigger input connected to the remote output on the Yamaha.

Also, the amp inputs would all be set to unbalanced (just a note - I'm guessing that was a stock photo that you used).

thanks foe the replys..yes I know the left and right are swip-swapped(new word I just made up:D) and it is a stock photo...so the settings will all be set to un-bal. thanks adam..didnt catch that on the trigger. I just wanted to make sure this was the best way to support full 1080p, and the best sound quality possible. thanks again!

How are the channels seperated in this amp? I wonder if you will get better inter channel seperation if you put it as follows, from left to right,

C - FR - SL - FL - SR

Anyone have thoughts on this idea?

I would follow the markings as indicated on the back of the amplifier already instead of following my own pattern...

FR - RS - CENTER - LS - FL

Since it is marked that way already, it will alleviate confusion at any point if you look at the back of the amplifier you should know what is connected to what easily.
