Are all DVD's now being made w/built in copy protection?...say the rentals from Netflix,Blockbuster & the mom & pop places....How can the copy protection be identified?

Virtually ALL major movie companies, i.e. Columbia, Paramount, Universal, Disney, etc. have copy protection. It is currently illegal to make a copy of any copy protected DVD for any purpose including a personal backup. And yes those rental disks are copy protected no matter where you rent them from.

Google and you shall find ways to circumvent CP when you want to rip DVD's to PC.

All DVD's ever produced by any major company have been copy protected by CSS. It's easy, but illegal, to crack.

AnyDVD can be cracked. Cracked a DVD43 of them to be exact.
