Sunday morning. Listening to some music quietly in two channel, background music really, while skimming a book. I'm very familiar with this cd, but something sounds different. I turn it up a little. "This sounds pretty good" I thought to myself. Turned it up a little more. "Damn, this sounds good" I thought again. Then it hit me. I turned and looked at my rec. display and it was still in PLII from night before, but I had only turned on amp for my front mains. So, it seems i was listening to 2-channel PLII. I know this wasn't meant to be but I have to admit, I kinda liked the effect. The cd was of different musicians playing accoustic guitar, maybe that had something to do with it.
