Controlling heat

I am trying to get some ideas on how to manager heat in my components as they are alll in a cabinet. Does anyone use small fans, like computer fans around their equipment? would that work

Second the motion for Active Thermal

My firm uses Active Thermal. Lots of cool products, we use mostly the ATM2 inline fan system with a duct.

Check out the articles posted on their site, very informative and not brainbludgeoning.

Also note that using a fan with speed control helps keep them quieter. I recall that decreasing a fan's speed 20% reduces noise by 50%, or something like that.
