Anyone seen this yet? I am quite fascinated but am having a hard time finding out more information.

That is interesting! I'm wondering if our chips are driving this system, most likely yes.

So not actually ground breaking.... NXT is all but forgotten.

One other point would be the potential for interior cabin noise as those body panels rattle and what not. Still a neat concept, but not new...

Well, why not just add active noise cancellation tech to kill those rattles?

I just spoke with another engineer about it, these can create recognizable melodies but cannot offer the fidelity we enjoy otherwise. Other iterations seems to involve HT installation where you actually couple to the drywall from inside the wall.... yikes!
