Hello All
If you are considering In-Wall's or On-Wall speakers and are looking to maintain a high degree of performance you would do well to check these out. I have installed or laid my hands on many on-walls but these are without a doubt some of the finest I have seen at this price.

The build quality is outstanding, They are sleek and beautiful, and they would be an easy choice for the architecturally picky significant other person in your life ;) On the performance side they will surprise you just as they did me, I was dumfounded that such a small thin speaker could reproduce this level of sound quality.

I won't go into specifics now because I am now sure after hearing these that a full review will be coming shortly. I will say if you don’t at least look into these you will have rubber leg syndrome from kicking your self in the rear :D

I was able to dig up a press release and here are a couple of pictures for your viewing pleasure. If you have any questions post them here and I will answer them

Outfitted with RBH’s proprietary 4” dual-active and 4” dual-passive aluminum woofers and a 1” silk dome tweeter, the WM-24s are equally adept at reproducing demanding musical sequences and life-like special effects. The tweeter protection circuit featured on the WM-24 eliminates tweeter damage by allowing the compact speakers to achieve exceptional detail and sonic accuracy without being overdriven by over-zealous enthusiasts.

Regardless of room size, the on-wall speakers remain virtually unobtrusive measuring less than 4-inches in depth, while offering interchangeable mounting options and convenience. Position the WM-24s horizontally for a center, or rotate vertically for left, right and surround channels. Designed to match a wide array of flat panel television displays, the WM-24s boast an extruded hairline brushed aluminum exterior with removable black or silver cloth grilles.

The WM-24 wall-mounted speakers are sold separately and include wall-mount brackets and black and silver fabric grilles. The WM-24 measures 24“H x 7.125” W x 3.75” D and each weigh 9.5 pounds. MSRP is $449/ea. The WM-24s are scheduled for June 2005 availability.

I'd like to know how they compare to Def Tech's Mythos Twos. They are awesome as well. :D

I'd like to know how they compare to Def Tech's Mythos Twos.
The Mythos system is a great sounding system it is priced at $3694
Here are a few others
B&W FPM with ASW675 $4650
Martin Logan Fresco with ML 10" subwoofer $5970
Sonance Silver Screen with 10" subwoofer $2235

Now for comparison I would put the build quality and sonic performance of the RBH with the Def Tec,B&W,ML and above the Sonance.
The RBH system with lets say a Velodyne DPS 10 would cost $2245+$449
total $2649

The price difference between the RBH and the Def Tecs is $1045 that would purchase a nice room treatment package that would further improve the performance of the system.

If you want more woofage combine the RBH system with an Axiom EP-500 your system total would be $3395 still well below the Def Tecs and you would have an earth moving system with lots of WoW effect ;) http://www.audioholics.com/productreviews/loudspeakers/AxiomEP500reviewp1.php

Funky math???

I assume you are using 5 of the RBHs @ $449 (Msrp) = $2245

5 Mythos Twos @ $499 (Msrp) = $2495

Difference = $250

Please, let's compare apples to apples.
