Considering New Speakers-Suggestions

I have been considering replacing my Paradigm Monitor 3s that I've had for about 6 or 7 years and came across great reviews of the PA 8F and EMP E5 Ti's. Both are in my budget range and I seem to be leaning toward the PAs. Should explain that I recently placed several acoustical panels, inclucing two bass traps, around my living room and bought a BIC F-12 to replace my Paradigm PDR-10. Other equip. includes a Yamaha RX-659 receiver, Samsung 50" PN50A, Panasonic BluRay BD-55, Paradigm CC370 that will be replaced with a center to match new spkrs, and Axiom QS-8 Surrounds.
The sound panels and new sub were suggested in the General Forum in an earlier thread. LIVING ROOM IS 11' BY 17'.
I bought the F12 instead of the more expensive Hsu, SVS, or Ed subs after reading good reviews of the BIC. Got it for $182.00 shipped.
Viewing/listening is mainly about 98% movies of the big action types with big sound effects.
Your input as to my speaker choices would be greatly appreciated. No real opportunity to preview spkrs in my area and I rely heavily on info I get here.
I also do not have very discerning hearing.
Thanks to all in advance.

Sounds like a job for Bose HTIB, who's with me? ;)

Sorry couldn't resist.

Well, I am a noob here myself, so I don't have much actual advice. I love my Paradigm Atoms, but it sounds like you want to go much bigger than this. Definitely understandable with a big basement to fill. Seems like you should definitely keep the Monitor 3s though. If you need more sound, just add a couple of speakers and go 7.1 instead of 5.1. Sounds like you have plenty of room for it all.
