Hey all, just doing some research before i go out and buy my audio video equipment.

I've got my heart set on the 32 inch samsung

My questions are how do I connect the TV up with a home cinema surround sound kit (the tv has integrated digital and awful speakers). Which connections to use for sound and video and which surround sound kit (reasonably priced) to go for. Please help with suggestions, It would really be apprcieated. thanks :D

I assume when you say "kit", you mean a HTIB (home theater in a box). There is many to choose from. Myself, I'd go with a Denon, Panasonic or Yamaha. (notice Bose does not make my list).

Here's a site with examples: http://www.htib.com/

In some cases the only connection you will need is the HDMI. If this is the perferred method of watching TV, than the audio connection part of the HDMI is not really needed since you won't be using the speakers on the Sammy.

The choices will come down to either a 5.1 system or a 7.1 system.

Onkyo also has some decent HTIBs. Cant comment on the quality, etc. but heres the one I suggest looking into. Onkyo HTIB
