I currently have an old tv that has no a/v inputs, vcr that is mono & a sateliite receiver. I purchased a mini terk rf modulator and a rca y adapter. I've been trying to hook everything up with no luck...Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

First off, does the TV have a 75 Ohm F connection (the cable standard), a 300 Ohm antenna connection (2 screws), or both?

Connect the VCR to the terks Yellow, Red, and White A/V inputs.
Connect the Satellite Receiver to the Terks coaxial RF input.
Connect the terks Coaxial RF output to the TV. If the TV has a 75 Ohm F connection, you can use a short coaxial interconnect (Rat Shack). If the TV only has the 300 Ohm antenna connection, you will need a 75 Ohm to 300 Ohm converter (Rat Shack too).

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the information. Will this set up allow me to record off of the VCR?
